Prevent Ski and Snowboard Theft
Visitors are reminded that it is their responsibility to properly secure personal equipment like skis, snowboards, and other gear. They should consider some simple preventative anti-theft measures:
Lock skis-snowboards to ski racks. Locks range in price from $10-$15 and are a lightweight durable device.
Keep your equipment in constant view or have someone watch it for you.
Most thefts tend to occur between the hours of 3pm and 4pm.
In order to better assist with the recovery of your equipment, visitors are encouraged to record serial numbers associated with their equipment, take a digital photo, and report theft to both ski area security and the Sheriff’s Office of primary jurisdiction. The Sheriff’s office phone number is 530-841-2901
